Haven't tried chocolate from San-Fransisco based TCHO yet? You're missing out!
A whole new way of looking at chocolate, TCHO Chocolate makes single-origin bars using cacao beans grown in just one place, but labels them by the dominant flavor characteristic, not the location.
Reservations are not required, just stop by any time between 6 and 8pm.
If you're a beer fan, you'll want to mark your calendar now for our next FREE in-store beer tasting, Monday, March 15 from 6 to 8 pm!
With Easter just around the corner, our next beer tasting focuses on the Bock style. What's the connection?Originally brewed by German monks as high-sustinance beers during the lenten fast, traditional Bock beers were strong lagers brewed from special malts and were usually dark in color and weighty in alcohol. Today, Bock-style beers are brewed all over the world-- often around religious holidays-- and can range from pale to dark. If you enjoy the toasty sweetness of malty beers without the bitter bite of hops, Bock beers may be the style for you!
What's the difference between Maibock, Doppelbock, Hellerbock, etc? You'll have to stop by this special tasting to taste and find out! The beers will be presented by Certifed Specialist of Wine and resident beer geek Mike Eberly. Reservations are not required, just plan to stop by any time between 6 and 8pm!
