   From our corner of the world in Northern Virginia, we aim to knock down the barriers that keep too many of you from enjoying the wonderful world of wine. For too long, customers have wondered how something as simple as a grape drink could become so complex and shrouded in mystery as to confound any wine lover.

The truth is, wine doesn't have to be so confusing. That is why when you come to The Curious Grape you will find a concept like no other. For us, every client is our best client. From the moment you walk in you will be met by our courteous and knowledgeable staff, who will answer any of your questions and assist you, if you need the help. Want to browse on your own? You will find that every wine sold in our store has an information card with the wine's region of origin, the grapes, tasting notes, and latest ratings by leading wine experts. We simply take the mystery out of wine buying.

Because everyone is different, we narrow down the bewildering array of international wines to a carefully-selected, rotating assortment, with choices to satisfy every taste and budget. And while we believe that there are good quality, great-value wines at every price level, it is imperative that these wines meet minimum standards that make them both drinkable and enjoyable. That is why we strive to bring you the best quality, best-value wines we can find. When you walk out of The Curious Grape, you can be sure that you've gotten a truly good value, no matter how much you've spent.

 100 Wines under $10

 We maintain approximately 100 great-quality wines under $10 from our nearly 500 wine selection. Moreover, we offer 200 of our wines under $15, so you'll always find something to suit your taste and budget.

 International Selection

 We carry a diverse selection of wines from every major wine region in the world. In our store you will find wines from California, Oregon, Washington, Virginia, France, Italy, Spain, Portugal, South Africa, Japan, Greece, Argentina, Chile, Germany, Austria, and Hungary.

 A Tasting Bar That's Always Open

Whenever you come in, you'll find 2 or 3 daily selections available for tasting on our tasting bar. Additionally, you'll enjoy a 10% discount on any wine being sampled that day, provided the wine is not already being discounted. This is a great way to "try before you buy" and to discover something new every time you visit us.
